Whats wrong with escrow ?

I have had a couple offers on the nova cue and the other cues and case I have for sale/trade.Any resonable offer I have ran into a wall . I tell people we can use escrow for safety .Immiediently I get replies on to ship the cue first . Then I offer a few very big named cuemakers as the middle man as they can judge the cue condition and all as I have no problem with that on the cue. Same thing ship the cue first . I think people are trying to rip me off. I even have 1 lady that says she is in that book you guys use to judge the price of cues and has the biggest collection in the world and whatnot but NO ESCROW...Whats the deal Im offering that more for their benifit than mine. and e just find a safe middleman .Whats up with the no escrow ? ID be an idiot to ship a cue to a perfect stranger without payment .Why no escrow on cues ?The cues mentioned if it matters

I sell cues on ebay and will soon on my web site, I sell stuff up to $5000 and some people get really freaked out when that level of money is involved. I'll do business on a escrow, no problem, because I am a honest guy, you will get the cue if I get my money. Ship the cue and me trust you to send me the money, I don't think so. I run into the same thing at a show where I display cues, I'll buy the cue for $400, let me take it over in the corner and play with it first to see how it hits he says, I go sure, hand me $400 and you can do that, If you like it, keep going out the door with it, if you don't like it, when you bring it back, you get your $400 back. Do I trust these people, no I don't. There are people who will take your cue and will walk right out the door with it. When two people do not trust each other, then a safe middle man is the only answer to this.

Just as I feel . I thought that offering escrow would be the best way to deal.Hey in your cues would you have any window cues . I want just 4 points and 4 windows .Preferably with a common pin like a 5/16/14.Would also like a hoppie type cue . I want quality though . I like that unknown cue I am getting rid of but cannot find any shafts for it .I also play snooker (not as well say as you or knight rider but well) and I play the biggies and littles tables . I want 3 to 4 shafts for the digfferent tips I use for the games I play . I dont like to carry many cues with me I would rather just carry 1 shooting cue with 3 or 4 shafts and a break cue . If you have anything let me know .I had some of my cues walk off thats why Im in this position .

FAST REPLIES, YOU CANNOT DEFEAT A SKILLED AND DETEMINED CRIMINAL, HE WILL GET YOU SOME OF THE TIMES. The cue thieves work in pairs in these shows, one guy walks up and says let me show you this and tries to block your view while his pal picks up your cue and puts it behind him as he walks away. I carry 6 plexiglas cue cases that each hold 17 cues, you can turn the case to view the cues and the door is locked. Like a jewler, I only take one out at a time. I am a little hard to get to, but like I said, it can be done. If there are 3 cue guys at a show, they leave me alone and go after the soft target.
I have a lot of Meuccis and boo coo low end Stealth cues now in stock, about 10 grand, would like to move some of them fast. I do play to add on more styles and put them up on my web site in the near future. I have some of the competition game cues, a couple of helmstetter balabuskea gb7's, a lovely cue. Fantastic straight pool cue. I used it for years, ran my high run of 274 with that model.

I was asking if you had like an old runde window or somehthing like that . I can afford a grand or a grand and a half for the right pacage .
