Whats your most memorable come from behind performance in a match ?

Whether it be league...gambling or just a friendly game.. 8 ot 9 ball ?

I have a few i would like to share .

Playing in a 9 ball money tournament using apa rules and points scoring. I was a 5 at the time ....now a 6 ...and faced another 5 in a 38-38 race. I was down 35 - 15 . i scored 23 - 2 from that point on to win the match 38-37.

My proudest moment though was in a loss .
Again in 9 ball i faced a 7 in Vegas at the nationals ...again as a 5. He won the lag and promptly broke and ran the first rack. He broke the second rack and ran all the way to the 9 which he missed.

So i am down 18-0 before i ever get to shoot. I lose the match 55-37 in a 55-38 race. Once i got a chance to shoot i scored 37 to his 37. Even though it was a loss i was proud of the fact that i hung with a 7 the entire match at the nationals..

In 8 ball i faced another 5 in a 4-4 race and after he won a rack he came up to shake my hand thinking he had won the match. My scorekeeper said he needed another rack that it was 3-0. He stated it was 4 and his scorekeeper informed him also that it was 3-0. Well i went on a roll and won 4 in a row to win the match. He refused to shake my hand lol..

Well over the years i have had plenty of memorable matches but those are my favorites...even the loss lol.

And i have recieved plenty of beatdowns over the years but i know yall dont want to hear about them lol.

So whats your most memorable match ?

My list of recent accomplishment is short. Was playing a guy who is much better then me overall.

We were playing One Pocket, he had 7, I had 1, he had no shot. Left me a kick that worked, and six more balls fell.

Sometimes Lady Luck is on your shoulder.

Playing Big Ed, race to four, 1pocket one afternoon, for $200, getting stuck 0-3 and coming back to win the set 4-3.

That night we play again, same deal: 1pocket, race to four, for $200, and I get stuck, again, 0-3 and come back to win 4-3.

On the way out the door, Al says to Big Ed, "Big Ed, if I were you... I wouldn't drive over any bridges on the way home."

memorable because it was last night,
had 13 errors, down big, came back in the 5 & 6th, dam near lost it all in the 8th, then,
held on for the yellow ball win in the 9th, had good points too but not enough cause I had to give 11 1/2 points due to weaker rack strength.
split the pot wins.

I wrote post describing how I try to put myself in the best possible mental state to make a comeback possible, and an example of my favorite comeback ever.

It was in the semi-finals of the masters APA cities, I was down 1-5 playing like garbage, nervous as hell, while my opponent is jumping balls in and effortlessly running out. I took a deep breath and won 6 games in a row to take the match. Here's the technique:
