I don't know if anyone here knows who Paul Fanelli is, but let me say he just made me a cue that is extremely one of a kind.

Fanelli is out of Clifton NJ and is a master at the art of butterfly splicing. He loves wood with alot of grain and figure and has always been known around North Jersey as a really good cue smith. He had done his share of pointed cues and wanted to do something different.. so he took some time and designed his own way of doing the butterfly splice. This splicing technique is an early European technique that Brunswick and some others used up until the 30's or so. Then it kind of disappeared here. There are some guys that are doing the technique now. But Pauls work is really exceptional.
