How about the young gun Jayson Shaw? He isn't in Europe but being Scotish he could play. He's is a top tier guy.

ALRIGHT, Stop pilling on. I missed Nick V for sure and Jayson Shaw too and maybe Grabe. So the twenty through twenty-fifth Euros could still beat us.
Which brings us to the real point. Why not have the Mosconi cup played between Asia and Europe, two places where people can obviously play pool. Let's have Euro A (whatever that might be) go against the Ko brothers, Efren, Busty and Dennis O. Now that would be something worth watching. I added Efren for old times sake but if we're really serious replace him with Lee Van.

For one thing, Mosconi was from neither of those places, they would need to rename the whole thing to "Gambling Sponsor Cup" or something. Keep in mind this US losing all the time thing is fairly recent although unlikely to be stopped untill we find some more Buddys, Nicks, Shanes and Archers in the youth program. Which we don't have really.
I keep telling my son that he won't be able to be a winner consistently untill he learns how to both win and lose. The issue with many on the US team is that some don't know how to lose (Earl and Mike) and some don't know how to win (most of them aside from Shane).
