The money exchanged between gamblers in high dollar action,especially between pro players and near pro level players...

I once thought this $ came from the numerous low level action games(mostly working men and bar bangers).In this premise the money works its way up the ladder until it gets to the bank accounts of the best gamblers.It seems to me that there is not nearly enough of this type of action to support the big $ match-up.

Some1 told me it comes from drug dealers.

IMO this is to much jack to come from tournament play.

I am sure it is impossible to determine just how many players make a living off of pool gambling or even how much money is exchanged...

Sooo where does it come from...
 
Probably from people who have a good deal of money stashed away and they like gambling and pool. You'd probably find a good percentage of them at the track, too.
 
I've always wondered that myself. I never thought the drug dealer route but I have to wonder how a lot of people have enough money to gamble on pool. I work my ass off, and I make a pretty decent living, but I can't afford to play hundred dollar sets let alone thousands over the course of a day or two.
