Thanks a lot Sergie... How about somewhere in South City area? Or like Daly City, San Mateo, Foster City, Burlingame, etc.?

Mika,

The only pool tables I think that are left in South City are at
Brentwood Bowl. If they still have them.

For action try Hollywood Billiards on Golden Gate, The Great
Entertainer on Bryant or Family Billiards on Geary in SF.

In San Mateo try the Great Entertainer on El Camino Real.

Howard,

I learned to play pool at the Brentwood Bowl! Thanks for mentioning it. Used to have to cut school to go there and play. What a blast from the past! Used to be a kid there that was coming up with the last name of AHlgren. I can't remember his first name. Haven't heard anything about him since. He probably became an accountant or something!

If you're looking for some action in the Daly City area you might try Town and Country up on mission. It mainly a Filipino hall but lots of action to be sure.
Good Luck

Do you want to know which is the best pool hall, or where in the Bay area the best pool hall is?

I remember seeing Santos Sambajon playing for money at a pool joint at the end of Junipero Serra where it meets El Camino. Just don't know if it's still there. That was 4 years ago. Holiday is a better place in the City, not far from the Mosconi Center. Down by the Airport is another place beside a pool equipment wholesaler.

Sputnik,

I think you're talking about Family Billiards at the top of the hill on Mission Blvd. El Camino is the street you're referring to as Junipero Serra and El Camino runs into and becomes Mission. There use to be a Gateway Chevrolet Car dealer close by.

Yup Rickw. My mistake. As I said, it was 4 years ago when I last went to SF.

No problem Sputnik, I grew up there. I was Angeles City once and I couldn't tell you a name of any of the streets there. Does that city still exist after the volcano erupted?

Yep, Angeles City is still around. It would take more than a volcano eruption to destroy it. :D

Ahhh.... I know these streets very well.

I used to drive around that area a lot...and would often stop by this favorite bar of mine where, for the life of me, I could not understand why you couldn't find any alcoholic drinks???

The place was called "KitKat"... and something really weird about that place was that there was a stage, and really pretty girls would go up and dance and suddenly start removing pieces of clothing.

Guys who were seated around the stage would suddenly start laying $1 bills in a row in front of where they were seating.... and the pretty dancing girl would get the money and smile and say thank you... :)

All the while dancing in front of you. Looking really nice and not wearing much and smelling really good.

nbc ;)
