I find a reasonably priced pool hall. The local one, CJ's, charges $8.00 an hour for table time. Like I'm gonna' pay that kind of money just to practise.

Koko...if you have a Saturday to blow...ride up to Cordelle (spelling?). A buddy of mine and myself rode our bikes over there and played for a couple of days...nothing but Snooker and 9 footers.....and the best hot dogs I've ever had. It is an old time pool hall that has been there since the 40s. People are really nice there...and it is never real crowded. I don't remember what is cost...but it was cheap. Watch out for the young guy that runs it...he's a player. Mike
I don't remember the name of it...but it is up in the old part of downtown. Most of Cordele has grown near the interstate....We just rode around old Cordele and ran into it. There are plenty of fish...all you want. When we came in and were noticed to be "out of towners".....they came out of the woodworks wanting a game. All were nice people though....It was a 6 hour ride for us...and was worth the trip....kinda a short "pool vacation" ...mike
