Which Aramith Liquid?

I just put an old, relatively cheap and dirty set of balls through about 10 minutes in the Diamond ball cleaning machine. I used Aramith liquid cleaner because that's what I had. I'd say the results are good. They're now shiny and the colors are improved. Any scratches are still there.

What could I expect if I used the Aramith Ball Restorer first followed by treatment with the liquid cleaner and when is it worthwhile to use both?

The ball restorer has some grit in it, and I can see some scratches in the picture of the cleaned 8-ball (on the 8). I don't know if those scratches were there prior to cleaning.

If you use the restorer, use it by hand and not the machine. You don't want both products on the cleaning surfaces.

Both cleaners have abrasives. The Restorer larger granuals (sp?)
I wouldn't use either of these in a Diamond Polisher. Too messy.

This will sound like a PITA but if the balls are in sad shape, use the Restorer by hand, then go to the Cleaner and do that by hand.
Then regularly, like after or before every session, throw them into the Diamond. I use a ChemPak in the Diamond but its also diluted 50%.

Cheap, old set? Just spend 50 bucks and get another set.
