Nope. They don't care...at least not until they know what kind of draw the event is getting...and I'm not a marketing genius by any means...but I'm sure the sponsors contributions correlate to the expected views. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
He was talking to:
The fans. The only ones who WILL listen.
WE can make it happen. With OUR support.
This tourney is what the game should be like, and some of us wish it would be like always...classy...intense, exciting, high caliber, entertaining...epic battles...highs and lows...young vs old...I could go on and on...
...and if we can't be there in person...stellar tv production quality, high def...all angles covered...commentary uninterrupted, stream uninterrupted, Professional..Billy and Danny doing a great job...the arena...this is what we wish it would be like, always...
"Make it happen" has made it happen for me, and maybe for you too. I know the title "Make it happen" by Pat Flemming originally meant it could only happen with the support of the fans...but it means so much more now after watching only half of this event...pool has struggled for so many years.
This shouldn't be an annual event. This should be a monthly event at least. Why shouldn't it? The interest is there...the buzz is huge. And it would only grow stronger, I can't imagine it not if accu-stats and Mr. Flemming or a similar production crew were to create the same arena atmosphere and quality / tournament on a more frequent basis. I can imagine an east, west, north, south, central (of course chicago) locale to put these on....non-overlapping dates... And of course the regular annual tournaments mixed in...

TAR also has the quality, and the draw. They have set the standard with interviews, epic battles that the fans want...venue second to none with no expense spared...but most are one on one...long races. Again, epic battles. Justin is doing what he can for the fans, and its great. And Pat Flemming is doing the same, but with a different format of course. Both offering what the fans want, and what the sport needs. Hats off to both.
This is a thank you to those who promote, because its in their genuine best interests, and ours as well.
And to the roving streamers (Lenny-ontherail, POV, etc...) you are absolutely included in the above sentiments...
Looking forward to the rest of the MIH weekend,
