There are some aggressive marketers and entrepreneurs on the board.

And there are times when negative things are being said.

Who takes REP too seriously? So many members have been banned over the past few months. That it warrants a discussion.

Are people on banning jihads for a business?

There are trolls, lurkers and the typical soon-to-be banned poster. What is going on with the forum, that people can't even post without a 30 post side thread on who said what.

The right to post on this forum is not part of the right to free speech... It is a privilege extended by the Mike and Jerry and as long as you bring honest discussion to the boards there is very little likely hood that you will be banned outside of committing one of the posted cardinal sins....

With that being said when someone begins to contribute only negative threads or posts then it is imperative that the bad apple be removed before the entire forum is damaged. The history for this could be researched using FastLarry and RSB as the search terms.

It is very easy to hide behind our screen names and act like children at times. To say things across the computer that we would never say face to face.....

I have red repped one person in the history of my time here and that was 100% over a post where the said person stated that even a BOT had the right to post here as long as it obeyed the rules.....

Rules are one thing but a modicum of civility, decency and respect for the other members is what matters here.... Even in some of the biggest flames fest we have seen the members will still concede points and admit mistakes.... They may do so while calling each other all sorts of names but there is still usually at least some respect...

When there is nothing but animosity and it starts to spill into the forums, emails and PMs it is time for forced vacations...... The 30 page thread in question will likely have several casualties before this is over.....
