Yes it look and feel like wood but it’s carbon fiber. Plays beautifully too that’s why I still want a whyte carbon

About two years ago i probably would of been all over this. I was using a 314-3 shaft. I've been playing with a revo since then and the black has grown on me.
Why do you think the pearl one would be any different regarding the use of gloves?
the raw black would be best, the pearl would be not ideal but better than the wood grain imo. I've tried it from a friend, the pear is not perfect but playable with my type of hand/sweat, however the wood grain is real good shaft just like the raw and pearl however I feel the grains require really the use of glove or maybe a guy who don't sweat at all. For me I couldnt even cue the shaft properly due to friction ....so yea Its sitting in the case right now so I would prefer to exchange it with something that I can at least use.
