Will a Predator BK Rush Break CUE accept the Predator REAR Extension bumper and Extension Piece?

I would only consider the BK Rush if it would accept the Predator Rear Extension System. Some of my cues do not have rear extensions and I use my current break cue ( leather tip) with it's rear extension when needed. I know that these Predator BK Rush cues have some type of weight adjustment system, I assume weights can be screwed down the butt sleeve below the area where a Predator rear extension bumper would be attached to the cue. Anyone have experience with these cues- are they tapped inside the original butt sleeve to accept the threads of a Predator rear extension bumper?

Thanks

The extension will work with the BK Rush. It has the same threads as their play cues

Out of curiosity, when do you feel an extension is needed on a break cue?

I explained up top= some of my playing cues do not have extension bumpers- I use a leather tip on my break cue - it can also be used as a playing cue- my present break cue also has an extension- so I use the extension on my present break cue when needed for a shot when I am playing with one of my cues without a rear extension bumper.

The BK rush has a tip that could also be used for shot making- from everything that I have been told- so I would add a Predator extension bumper onto it and use this BK for shots where I need an extension and my playing cue that day does not have an extension bumper.

Glad I stumbled on this thread from a few months back, been struggling because I have a custom Runde cue I absolutely love with no ready made extension option but recently upgraded to a BK Rush/Air Rush combo.

Never thought of an extension for the break cue until today but after playing a couple racks with the BK Rush, it works just fine. I spun the cue ball more than I normally would and not a single miscue. I’ve heard they may use the Samsara tip or at least one very much like that and that seems right, I had a Samsara on a Gilbert J/B and it played the exact same….tinky sounding and hard but can get plenty of action on the cue ball without miscuing. Nothing like a phenolic tip.

So this will be a great solution for those few shots where I really wish I had an extension for my play cue, I’ll just throw one on the BK Rush and play that. 8” Predator extension on the way.
