will any 5/16-14 shaft fit a schon cue

I need to hear from somone who knows, this question has come up before. Locally i'm told no, but on here i was told yes
All of the standard 5/16x14 joint screws will fit a Schon butt.
But Schon shafts will not fit any 5/16x14 joints.
Reason
Schon offered two different 5/16x14 joint screws.
One standard and the other undersized .302/.303 with a smaller minor.
So the smaller joint screw insert won't screw on to the standard.
The other reason is the Schon pilot. Made at .528 to match thier stainless joints. Most other cues only use a .500 pilot on thier joints.

Another one is some of Mr. Bill Schicks cues. The joint screw is smaller than the standard. It's all about fit. .Mr. Schuler's joint screw is also undersized and the insert is far from the standard.
