I have an old Hoppe 2 piece pro,I think 1960's,model for sale.My digital camera is broken so no pictures.Sorry.I will descibe as best as I can.Full spliced points with four colored veneers.Still has all of the original finish on it and looks great. It appears, the cue was not used much, that's why I bought it.It still has the original finish on the shaft.Pretty rare considering that back then everyone used to sandpaper the heck out of them.I say this is a 1960's model because it does not have the large BBC sticker at the bottom.Instead, it simply has a small white oval sticker that has the weight(18) on it.This may not be one of the oldest Hoppes I've had but it is one of the nicest. This cue would but be great for a conversion by one of the better cumakers to make it a little fancier or keep it put away as is.Your choice.
Anyway,PM if you're interested and we can discuss it further.I'm trying to build up my warchest for a new Bluegrass or I would probably keep this one myself.
