As you say 'at one time'. The Current fair value, as determined by the ebay market, is less than $200.

Yes it was listed at that price so not sure what it sold for.
The price you noted on e-bay is what I have seen as well.
So the range is somewhere between the prices we have listed.

Another example of book prices is the "Billiard Encyclopedia: An Illustrated History of the Sport".
I have been watching the trend on this one as well. It was listed on Amazon a month ago at about $900 with only 1 used copy available. Today there are 2 copies at Amazon for $350. At the same time, the same book at Barnes and Nobles is almost $1,100.
In this case the range is huge compared to the Winning One Pocket example but people will buy them at inflated prices if they cannot get their hands on one.

So in this case, at the price noted it would be a nice book to have and keep.
