Hi all,

I picked up two Carolina Customs merry widows recently, one goncalo alves and one "cocobolo", but it doesn't look like any cocobolo I've ever seen. Can any of you identify the wood? It almost looks like goncalo alves too, just with less figure and a lighter color. Or maybe bloodwood?

The mystery wood cue is the one in the middle of these photos. The bottom cue is goncalo alves and the top is an Andy Gilbert cocobolo jump break for reference.

The top cue in my pic was said to be cocabolo by Jacoby. It's quite red, may have a stain in it?
The middle cue is a Schon with possibly Cocabolo, but not sure and dont remember. Total different look. I do know that cocabolo I use in my woodworking doesn't look like in my Jacoby cue, so I'm assuming they possibly stained it somewhat.

It could be I guess, depending on the cut, or it could be rosewood maybe? However the third one being Gonçalo Alves is more puzzling, as that's a yellowish hue normally?
