hi, I have a cuetec natural series with the tru-glide S.S.T shaft (fiberglass over maple) Does cuetec make regular wooden shafts that would fit my cue? because I don't have the money right now to buy a new cue.

At first i was gona say why you wanna waste the doh on the Cuetec but hearing your situation I know exactly how you feel.......My best advice is sell the Cuetec and get a Players Sneaky Pete!!!!!!!!!!! for 40 bucks you cant go wrong with a semi descent cue!!!

Also i dont know if cuetec makes a wooden shaft..

haha trust me, I'm tired of this cue but in the meantime it does the job.

Cuetec makes the Excalibur sneaky pete, which has a regular maple wood shaft. Plays just fine. Don't know if the joint is the same.

Cuetech has at least two wood shafts. One is the thunderbolt and the other is the vortex. Go to Cuetech's website for more details.

They are not cheap. Maybe about $150. Worth it? Doesn't sound like it in your case. If you need a wood shaft cheap, you'd be better off starting over with another brand cue that has a joint more easily adaptable than Cuetech's in case you want to upgrade the shaft later.

Try Walmart! You are looking for probably 3/8 by 14.
Or maybe you can have someone rethread one for you.:D
Is it worth it? I don't think so.
I would recomend buying a nice wooden cue. I can fix you up for $80 brand new. PM for pics.
Why fix that old fishing pole.

You can always Have the Cutec Full Spliced and preserve it as a keepsake.:D :D :D
