woof - purdy pool this weekend?

my shooting partner and I had the very humbling experience of playing purdy and his buddy some partners 1-hole last weekend. we had a lot of fun despite losing thousands to them over the course of a couple hours...and I was deeply moved when don offered us his well-aged perspective on sensitive social issues like VD and "mudbutt". I truly feel that don is like an elder statesman and ambassador of the game...and possibly overqualifed to educate younger players about VD (and depends).

let me just say that don plays as a CHAMPION. my shooting partner and I discussed quitting pool after seeing the championship level of pool that don and his partner played at. we just don't think we can get there no matter how long we play or how old we get. I like to call it natural talent...some people like don are just born with the heart of a champion and have what it takes to get there...street players like me are resigned to recognize their talent and point out that we need A LOT MORE WEIGHT. I'm talking 10-3 and the breaks. Please don, be reasonable and give us a shot at our money with this fair spot!

so is this azb/purdy pool going to happen this weekend? unfortunately, don and his buddy pretty much busted my friend and I last weekend. we will be more than happy to show up and engage in some more pool playing with whatever azb'ers show up...but be forewarned that we will need a MONSTROUS spot to engage in any kind of action!

Truth is, I broke even. How did Paul do with you after I left? Thanks for all the compliments, all I can say is that is was nice meeting you and your partner and I enjoyed playing pool with ya. I am planning on getting together again soon. Thanks for the good time Jeff.

we found out the hard way how paul got all those nice sticks. that's right, ask him about the 2 new sneaky petes in his collection :( this is what happens when street players like us come across seasoned roadplayers like don and his buddy.

are you still doing the azb pool get-together thing this weekend? or was it next weekend?...I forgot

thanks for the tips on incontinence!
