i was just wondering how the added money was for this tournament. I thought i had read somewhere way back when that it was going to be $20,000.00. So i was just wondering what it ended up being.........mike

17th-24th: $500 (total of $4,000)
9th-16th: $1,500 (total of $12,000)
5th-8th: $2,500 (total of $10,000)
3rd-4th: $3,500 (total of $7,000)
2nd: $6,000
1st: $13,000

Total of $52,000 - exactly what was advertised. $32,000 in player entry fees plus the $20,000 added.

Somehow, I think that professional pool needs to do a better job of promoting itself so that players further down the payout totem pole can make a half-way decent living.
