World Snooker 2018

Is this going to be streaming on their Facebook page this afternoon? Last of the other semi should be on now, right?

Yeah, thanks, I've been watching. It was set to start at 2:30 eastern but they didn't start the stream till like 15 minutes or so later than that. But not bad. The stream has been great. Got the facebook page up and Chromecasting over to the 50 inch :thumbup:

Definitely a high quality stream. Hopefully Barry Hearn can do something like this for the US Open 9 Ball.

The play itself has been sub-par at times. Both Hawkins and Williams making so many careless mistakes. It kind of makes you wonder how guys like Ronnie, Ding, or Selby ever lose to these guys. At the same time, it goes to show how tough the game is, and the games have been close and full of tension.


Higgins will be the clear favorite tomorrow, but even he has been off his game so much that I can't see the winner winning by more than 3 frames.
 
The stream really sucked at the end. It cut out right as Hawkins was getting down to cut what should have been an easy pink ball down the rail into the top right corner pocket with only that and the black left on the table. I think he was up 5 at that point. Guess he missed and Williams cleaned up. Maybe they'll post it online in awhile.

the words 'easy' and 'down the rail' really don't go together in snooker! lol. Barry played safe on that shot.
 
This year is disappointing.
None one of the top 4 seeds made it to semis. Don't think that has happened in a long time.
Final played between 2 oldies. :)
 
Higgins trying to power the last red out while sending the brown 4 in to the pocket. I guess he will try that differently in the future. Jeesh.
 
Great match going on -- they're in the final session now. Williams entered the night ahead 15-10. Higgins has won 5 frames in a row to make it even at 15. Race to 3 from here!
 
I think John's been concentrating too much on trying to pull level instead of on the win. Williams for the win in my opinion.
