WOW how did everyone miss this?

not sure...i hope you picked that Schrager up for 300 bucks...

good to know ebay still has deals on it from time to time
 
Its clearly a Schrager and I should have it tomorrow. Looks like brazilian rosewood or cocobolo into birdseye. Micarta joint, pretty standard Schrager.

Ironically enough I worked with a John Halverson, name on the name plate, here in NJ, I am sure there is no relation.

I thought it looked a little like a Tice. I would have bid, but the inlays in the points are not my cup of tea.

I just compared it dimensionally to another Schrager and I have no doubt the maker. (Also a similar cue on proficients site) Yeah, Bert did this point inlays and blocks on the bottom. He did those inlays and similar on cues and I agree some are not that appealing.

I got it in a few hours ago and it seems pretty straight and solid. Definately worth the price.

I noticed an old Ralph Greenleaf and a 8 pointed, Gus forearmed Palmer go on the bay recently.
