Hello Shawn,

Would like to know your thoughts on the recently completed World Pool Championship in Taiwan. If I'm not mistaken I think this was your second time playing in the tournament: this year and a couple years back in Cardiff, Wales. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that you did not make it out of the group stages this year. With your recent play I thought you were a lock to make it out this year...and even to advance pretty far. Did you just have a bad week over there? Were the players in your group just playing "lights out"? Did jet lag affect you? I know once when I asked you about the conditions in Cardiff the first time you went, you didn't seem too thrilled about the playing conditions. What about this time? Were the conditions any better? I really want to see you keep going to this tournament because I think once you get out of the group stages, you will have a real chance to do some serious damage! Please don't stop going. If I were a Pro Pool player, I think I would rather win the WPC even more than the U.S. Open. Also it is my belief that the Taiwanese have surpassed even the Filipinos in terms of having the highest number of "world-class" players. What do you think?

Kind Regards,
Bob Guzik
