Wrap less

I am going to remove the linen wrap from a cue , then going to do a feather inlay ( I have done this on fishing rods ) and clear coat .

I am familiar with using two part epoxies . Being most comfortable with epoxies ( I'll keep the UV resin reserved for my fly tying , going bigger than that would make me nervous about the UV curing even with a big UV lamp ) What epoxy brands or recommendations would you suggest ? Also the C.A. glue looks interesting but still leaning towards the two part

Thank you all !

West system 105 resin with 207 hardner.
Spreads and builds easy. Dries clear.
Here's the catch,
You can't sand it until after a full 24 hours to prep for the next coat.
