Wrap

Any ideas on how to keep your wrap shiny and glossy ? My cue has a lizard wrap on it but it looks quite dull now...

Bees wax, or Bow string wax from an Archery supply house are two options that I have seen used.

I've heard people say NOT to use any type of Armor All, but bees wax is a good idea.

I do a lot of lizard. Mink oil is all you need.

does the mink oil clean iy and seal it? also is the white lizard very hard to maintain? are they all white? thanks Mick

Hmmm... Bees Wax or Mink oil....

I have used the mink oil on all leather wraps, Pig, cow, lizard, shark and elephant. I do this by hand with a paper towel
then buff it out with a diaper. I have never done a solid white leather but I have done bone and ring tail lizard which is black and white. I hope this helps.

IMHO, wax will cause the leather to dry out and crack. leather should be treated with neetsfoot oil or a mix with lanolin, or pecard.

A friend of mine has a mink oil and i tried it.. It realli turns out to be more shiny....
