I used to have this problem a lot and was looking, like you, for a brace to stop it. However, I got an invaluable tip that solved the problem which I will share with you. This will feel funny at first; however, now it feels funny not to do it.

Hold your Thumb and index finger straight down; don't wrap them around the butt, just let them hang down. This helped me immensely.

This tip came from Dick Leonard who was an old school 14.1 player that used to post at the Billiards Digest message board, years ago.

The first thing I noticed when I tried it was that my break was much more controlled because I wasn't putting (as much) unintended english on the break. And my long straight-in shots also improved significantly.

Again, it may feel funny at first, but give it a try; it has really helped me stop twisting my wrist. Of course, YMMV.

Good Luck.

The pro shot glove looks to be really good. What I did was used a correction glove from my bowling days and it does the trick. All you need is anything that restricts your wrist from moving back and forth.

You can order the Pro Shot Glove from AZ Billiards Marketplace. Show AZB some love. Buy your products from AZB by clicking here. and click the icon marked New Marketplace.

Done ordered proshot from Seyberts !!! Should have on monday before league i hope !!!

I just didn't like the way the straps crossed your hand and
in between your fingers..could not get used to it..the cheaper
and better Proflex 4000 does not feel like that and supports
movement better..JMO..good luck with the ProShot though..SA

ProShot Glove

I am the inventor of the ProShot Glove. I would like to point out a few things.
1) It can be worn on either hand.
2) metal braces in the glove are on the top and bottom can be removed totally or bent to your specs.
3) Current bend in the metal is fit exactly to the way Mika Immonen holds a cue and that seems to work out pretty good for him LOL.
4) Criss Cross straps ar ethere to pull the devise tighter and keep the hand more in place. Some people like to not use the straps which is also fine.

Also the ProShot Glove just received the Seal of Approval from the BCA and the ACS as a training/teaching aid. A lot of league players use it all the time. I am one of them.
Lastly I am 100% in agreement with Joey A. We should support AZB market place, without AZB where could we talk about all this stuff.
Thank-Keith

I got one when they first came available.....can't use it because it is simply just way too large for my wrist...even cinched as far as it can go. It sits unused in it's original packaging, doomed to a drawer somewhere.
