I need one butt, two shafts joint protectors that willl fit Omega/DPK cue.

If you can one for sale or direct me to the right place I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I guess I'd contact Mike Bender.

Bender

Good luck with Bender, I ordered a repair pin from him in March, just got it the other day, lol.

Is it 3/8 by 14 same as Cutec or 3/8 by 11?

I am not sure but the cue probably has a 3/8 12 pin!

Nick,

I hae 3 Omega/DPKs and two fancy Benders in my collection so I think I'm pretty sure what pins are in them. I didn't know you collect Omega/DPKs too????

Only cuemaker I know that use 3/8x12 as "standard" is Ernie Martinez although I have a fancy Tad with 3/8x12 thread as well.

Thanks for the bump!!!

If you wish, I'll add a set to your order, The dye for the acme should be here anyday.

Thanks Mr. Webb,

Just let me know when this one and the 5/16x14 ACME ones are ready. As always, I appreciate your insight and generosity on the forum.

Unfortunately I don't own either. But I do sell JPs. Let me get this straight. If the Omega is 3/8by14. Then, they are not the same as a SW?
What does 3/8 by 11 fit?
Also I think the import replicas of "whatever", the ones with brass pins are 3/8 by 12

3/8x11 fit "SW" threads .. that is generally cues with with 11 threads per inch .. 3/8x14 implie there are 14 threads per inch. I only know Bender as the cuemaker who use 3/8x14 thread.

Thanks for the offer but I'm sure Mr. Webb will make the right JPs for me. He is also generous enough to make me 5/16x14 ACME JPs .. they are different from standard 5/16x14s as they have a thicker threads ... so make different joints out there ...

Oh no, I wasn't really even offering. Just trying to get it straight in my head. I never even seen an Omega/DPK I just figured it was the same as a SW:o Now is the Omega pin the same 3/8 by 14 thread as Cutec? or is there a difference?

I'm going to sound like a snob ... but I have no idea about cuetec threads.
Same here, :D :D Other then they are 3/8 by 14, Which I always thought was more like a plumbing fitting. That's what threw me, when you told that Omega has the same thread

Gosh maybe you can get an SST shaft for your Omega  :p :D

Omega's and Benders are 3/8X14. Cutecs are .355X14 The pitch on the thread is different between the two.

OK ... that's it ....

I'm going to figure out how to leave negative "reps" on this board ... yes I will :p

Indy Q has them

Hi, I just got a bender from Roy at Indy Q. He had the joint protectors in stock if it doesn't work out with Mr. Webb. They are plain though.

Just curious, do you know the joint O.D. of Mr. Benders cues. I remember the Omega's being around .826 like the Southwest.

Ha

Mike, Not that I have to tell you;) but Benders threads also have a flat bottom in the thread and square also making it a special machined thread. A regular 3/814 count thread is not the same as I know you know. Just letting some of the other Azer's a where. Thanx Aaron 815-243-1101:D

I think??
