you DID NOT pay too much for that cue IMO. The market is so soft right now it's easy to think that sort of thing. You just bought one of the finest players on the planet for 8bills? You could probably get your money back just about ANY time you want to...
Not to mention if YOU like it who cares? These things play SOOOO GOOOOD you'll probably soon forget how much you paid for it anyway. When I bought my 6pointer at first I thought I might have paid a little too much... but after a few racks and a couple match ups I quickly changed my mind. It's a keeper at ANY price. Even though right now you see PJ BG's for around 1k and they don't sell as quickly as they used to, that's just the way it is right now. Just think, occasionally people are having to "Raffle" Sugartree's just to move them, when just months ago they would sell in hours for WHATEVER The asking price was.
Richards cues tend to maintain their value fairly consistently and are still in high demand, and for good reason
