Hi all

Any type, any condition.......anything.

Please get in touch if you know the location of a Chas Clements case. Free cue to anyone who manages to find me one (offer open as long as I get the case in my hands, ie: on completion of a sucessful transaction).

Get in touch with Scott Murphy through the cue-addicts guys. Scott and I did a deal back in 02 or 03 where he got my Chas case. The case is very elaborate and quite pricey but worth every cent. Mine was a 2x6 configuration, you will not be dissappointed. I think they might have sold it, but perhaps can put you in touch with the buyer.

Here is his home page

The guy does great work, but he's a complete ass and last I heard wasn't able to work due to a hand problem/injury.

just wondering... what makes him an ass? is he hard to do business with or something?

Many artist are very hard to work with, I think often you put up with it to get nice work, and his work can be very nice. I'm not a fan when a person feels a need to put down other's work to talk up his own. Good luck dealing with him.

well, for right now there is no dealing with him since his injuries stopped him from working... i emailed him a couple days ago about building me a case but he said he was unable to. usually someone that skilled doesn't feel the need to put down others work, you know what i mean? it sucks that he comes off that way to people but theres no denying his skill is pretty much unparalled. you guys ever see the lord of the rings case he did? i'm not big on the theme but the case itself was just incredible...

I saw through his website that he seems to enjoy making holsters for weapons, especially for self-defense --- namely the sap. The intensity of the pictures and the practicality of the sap, as well as the complementary video you could purchase, perturbed me a little.

We no longer have that Clements case. Talked with Chas about it at some point around '03-'04 and he said it would have been around $3000 to recreate. All the tooling work in it was amazing. At that point he said he was no longer doing any intricate work like that anymore due to his hand injury.

Here are a few pics for those interested:

Chas's case is very heavy. I mean, extremely heavy.

hey richard... my whitten 3x6 is full and really heavy... i haven't weighed it but i think i will. i can't see chas's cases being heavier than my whitten... sometimes when i'm standing around for a while with my case my shoulder starts to fall asleep from the weight haha. do you know someone who has a chas? how did it look to you in person?
