hello all, i have a new nice jump cue coming in, but i do not have a case or a sleeve to put the butt it in while it is in my case, anyone have one or know where i may buy one? thanks
I think anyone who has a jump cue generally has a case with built in storage. Usually, you'll see there's a large front pouch, usually near the bottom, usually with an additional zipper on the side, in which you can store your jump cue butt. My advice would be that, if you don't have a case like this, go ahead and try and find an inexpensive one that does (anything from 2x4 and up is a likely candidate for having one -- make sure it has it though).
Otherwise, if you're really against that idea, there are things like this:
Latches on to your case. In my opinion, more trouble than its worth...
But to each his own.
(NOTE: A picture of an Instroke 2x4 below. It's sort of tough to see, but if you look at that big, long pocket at the bottom in the front, there's the main zipper on the face...and then directly above you see another one of those little tabs....that's the additional zipper on the side...that's where you'd store your jump cue's butt piece. And the shaft just goes into any other shaft tube, of course.)
thank you, i have an instroke case 3x5 i am going to put it in my case pocket but i wanted a leather sheath or something similar so the other stuff in mycase doenst bang my jump butt up. thank you for the link. yeah i think that exteernal case would be tough. i will just go buy something like that and cut it to form. in the past i have seen some "ITS GEORGE CASES" come with a leather sheath. thanks
I know is the butt case for the Scorpion jump cue. It is made real nice, leather case with gold colored rivets/fasteners with a clip for clipping to a regular case. They sell for $20 by themselves.
