Ok folks, so I am on the hunt once again. At the urging of my wife who is obsessed with this particular cue (It's the one with the floating points and cats inlaid on it,) I am reaching out to the AZ community once again. All of the folks that were listed as possible sources either never mailed me back or didn't have the cue. I contacted McDermott about making one from NOS wood and they quoted me a price that would have made Joey Gold at Cognoscenti say "Holy %@%$!! That's an expensive Cue!!" So if you all have any contacts and have the time to reach out to them, I would greatly appreciate it. The cue can be new or used, just priced reasonably.

I'm curious, what was the quote from McDermott to make you an EJ4? I have an EJ6 (birds, not cats), and I paid $600 for it about 6 months ago.
 
$825 w/ 1 shaft and a leather wrap. Really not expensive...but expensive for a McDermott if you know what I'm saying, and certainly more than the Blue Book value. I like the cues, but if I'm going to spend that kind of cheese, I'll find a C series.

McDermott now states that they can no longer make an EJ-4 as they do not have the materials. Keep an eye out if you would please guys.
