I think they are made in Japan and the prices are crazy high. The few guys who make cues in Japan seem to get top tier prices for them on their home turf.
SAIAS cues were made by Keith Andy, in Japan. They were a limited edition line of cues that he made, and I do not believe they are made anymore. By the way, Keith Andy was named after the cue makers two favorite cue makers, Keither Josey, and Andy Gilbert. I do not know the cue makers real name, but I read that he is / was a big collector of custom cues.
They are insanely expensive, on the Japanese market. I had a very nice 5 point, with veneers, SAIAS, that I very regretfully sold, and that cue hit amazing. Really wish I could get it back. Lol, I begged the guy I sold it to, to sell it back to me, but he said he gave it to his son, and that his son really liked it.
