Question about Heyball rules... I read the rules but not sure I understand.

At
right after the lady makes the 3 ball with a jump shot the ref takes the 1 ball off the table
and the lady gets to shoot the 8 ball for the win.

Question: Why?

She obviously gets a one ball spot for playing the guy. I fast jumped around the video a could of times and two other games did the same thing.

Maybe just qualifier rules?
