Well its been a few days and about 40 hours more table time with the X-1 attached. I have tried to be as dispassionate as I can about the X-1. I am a skeptic and do not normally get excited about new gizmos that promise the world.
I have to be honest here, my game has improved. The change is felt primarilly at the point of contact. It appears that my cue ball controll is just that, more controlled. At 1st the hit felt dead. After awhile I realized that its not dead its just consistent. I don't ever get that weird twang when applying topspin anymore.
The guys that I play with are not laughing anymore. I do not know if its all mental or if the X-1 really makes a physical difference. But who cares I am playing better.
