A break cue is a preference but from my expierence with the old samsara X-Breaker it is the nuts it crushes the balls and is by far the best break jump cue ive ever used and ive tried alot if you get the chance to use one or even buy one DO IT you wont regret it

I own 2. They have massive shafts that you will never feel any give up in when you break. When you hit 'em solid, it feels like a spring unloaded in the shaft. The weight distribution is excellent - feels just like a playing cue as a breaker, and the weight falls nicely forward as a jumper. I don't buy too much into the idea that your break cue needs to be balanced a lot differently (rear weighted) than your player. Just means you're using something unfamiliar for a really important shot.
That being said, modern equipment is often amenable to softer breaks. The OB break, and the Lomax JB are probably really good. I know my Lomax jump cue is fantastic.

I gave my original x-breaker away. I liked the hit and the quick release on the 2nd joint.
What I didn't like was that metal was raised over the wood.

My Samsara x-breaker is well finished but doesn't have quick release which is pain sometimes.
The phenolic tip is now banned by BCA if I'm not mistaken.
The shaft is very thick part of that is because the wood is young.

The hit is solid and breaks well, but I don't think it breaks any better than Predator BK-2, I have a feeling that BK-2 has more speed.
The jumping is easy but control is so-so. You can go death sometimes from the sound when jumping.

I like x-breaker, but I have not had any experience with the other cues you mentioned.

Xbreaker is the best break cue i saw til now- next to the King-Breaker and Breakhammer mady by a german guy named Oliver Stops. His Break-Cues are the best i ve seen and played. Will buy as soon as possible a new Breake from Oliver Stops- Breakin and Jumpin is fun with his good product.

My X-breaker is by far the best jumper of all the j/b cues I have owned or tried and breaks really well, too. I like the BK2 for breaking a little better but they are close. The model I have is the Hillbilly's model x-327 or whatever it was called, but it was made by Samsara I think. It's the dyed purple maple.
