I realize this topic is old hat, but I need a specific comparision between Talisman hard and Moori Quick. Heard a lot of people say that Moori tips will pack down over time and become harder. Will a medium play hard over time?. I worry that a Quick might eventually become phenolic hard.

Yes, I think a Moori medium will play hard over time (at the very least, my last one did). In my experience, this doesn't happen as much with talisman pro medium, and as far as I've read on this forum, my experience is fairly representative of other people's Moori mediums and Talisman pro mediums. After making the switch to talisman, I won't be switching back to moori, since I like the way the talisman plays more consistently throughout its life span, and it holds its shape like a champ.

But I don't have experience with the hard/quick ones, just the mediums.

Sounds like I should just stick with Talisman as I'm alredy used to them.:)

Absolutely hated the Sniper, too soft. I like hard tips, harder the better.

Then keep using a hard tip.

I like Moori quicks and Molavia Hards (even harder). But now I use a very hard, durometer tested triangle and it hits great.

-Roger (all tips compact through time, hard tips stay more consistent longer)
 
Sniper is a bit soft for my personal taste as well, but I still like it.

Can I throw a Hercules Hard tip into the mix? I think that tip is great, have not tried thier Hurcules 2 yet.
