Conditioning for pool

When I am playing in tournaments, all we use is a small handheld JVC digital video camera.

Do you recommend any particular endurance, stretching, or strength training geared toward pool?

Usually start by hitting some balls just to get a little warmed up, just any shot I feel I have not mastered, lately 3 rail position shots through lots of traffic. Then I throw 9-11 balls out and run em, most of the time I will set the pattern tough with 2-3 hard/med hard position shots or hard to pocket balls. I always make the last 3 balls on either opposite ends of the table or the last ball on the rail close to the side pocket with the last ball on the end rail. Usually I will make the first shot on the one a tough one if I miss hit it again until I feel I have it down to a reasonable level. Once I feel good I rack the balls 9 or 10 and break. Run out if I can or play safety and kick battles with myself until the rack is over. When I have the whole weekend I usually will break for about an hour maybe longer. When I get tired of this I usually practice draw shots and various stroke shots that come up every so often. Hit balls down the rail across the side pocket at high speeds with very little angle trying to force one ,...........I watch pro matches and am always trying to learn everything I can, I constantly evaluate my whole game and what needs work comparatively to the top players........... gamble some, tournaments, blah blah blah........
