Your Stroke

Does your tip travel all the way up to your bridge? I've been practicing doing this on my stroke.....and it gives me the follow through I need.

The length of your backstroke has nothing to do with how far the tip moves forward after contact with the cue ball. It can, however, have an impact on the speed of the shot.
What you do want to strive for is a consistent backstroke length. Whether that is all the way back or 3/4 of the way back isn't as important as bringing it back the same distance on all of your SOP shots.
