Zebra tips????

I recently purchased a shaft with a "Zebra" tip on it. I was told it is a multi layered tip spliced from a Tiger everest, and sniper. I actually had one of these on an old cue i had and loved it and could not find what brand it was so I gave up on the search. Now I have figured out what it is I want to know if its something I can purchase or is it something I have to physically make myself?

Didnt know you could find one on an old cue. Not sure who made those back then.
