Over the years I've bought a Tascarella, a Josswest and a Scruggs from Mike. Each was exactly as advertised, and there were no problems. But I'm a lawyer too, so why believe me?
Do you folks recommend maintenance of pressed linen wraps? I have read about using wax paper, etc., but am thinking it may make sense just to let it go as the cue involved is a player (albeit a Tascarella) and I'm not overly concerned about its appearance. Thanks.
Is there an effective way of maintaining the appearance of a polished linen wrap (in this case white with black) without a lathe, or is it best to just let it get discolored and lose its sheen? Thanks.
He had the cue at VF and it's my understanding it's authentic. I think he was looking for something north of $25K. His auction doesn't seem to specify a reserve, which I have to think is a mistake.
The only problem with Buffalo Billiards and other downtown DC rooms (other than Fast Eddie's, which only has crappie 8-foot tables) is that they aren't open during the day on weekdays. One possibility if you want to play during the day is Bailey's Irish Pub and Grill in Ballston Common Mall...
Thanks. Diamond doesn't appear to have dealers, so I assume they would ship it to me and I would have to hire a mechanic to set it up, right? Not enough room for a 9-footer, BTW (unfortunately).
