Since CF is a very different material from wood, it is not fair to expect they play the same. I would not expect a wooden tennis racket plays the same as a CF one. I heard Cuetec will make more joint pin types. Not sure if 30" and 31" require different molds. In the end, the market demand...

If Cuetec's price is too close the Predator, many buyers might just wait for Predator. Here are a few things I heard: 1. 12.5mm should be available for a play shaft. 2. 13 to 13.5mm for a break shaft. 3. Will develop shaft which fit for other brand cues. Looking forward to the break version...

I am fine without the white ferrule since I got used to aiming without it. However $450 is a bit steep.

This is what I heard as well. Not sure how will that affect the playing characteristics.

Not sure what tip diameter will be available to the public, but this particular one should be ~12.75mm. As far as I know, the price is not determined yet.

It was a friend's Cuetec prototype. Though I didn't measure the tip's diameter but it should be about 12.75mm. In short: Deflection properties are very similar for both shafts. Revo has a more crisp hit/ feedback, probably because the front ends have different constructions.

Not available for sales yet. Don't know about the uniloc, but I don't mind getting the whole cue because of the shaft.

Been shooting with both cues last night. The cue on the right is a 12.9 revo. The is a more finalised version of the new CF shaft. It was a pretty good experience.

Mezz is another brand which I am considering. Or I can go get a cheap break cue.

For example, 1. How the shaft flexes against the table (which depends on your stroke/ follow through). 2. How the cue functions as a long jump cue. 3. Comparisons vs. other popular break cues.

I got myself a bottle of 99% isopropyl alcohol today, because I couldn't find a 90% one. As far as cleaning revo goes, is 90% (as stated in Predator's recommendation) better than 99%?
