I've watched most of the matches in part , I've seen the same referees over and over. Now all of the sudden in the semi's I see 2 refs that I didn't see in the televised matches.Anybody recognize these semi refs?

The reason players are putting up with things is because 1st place pays 75,000 dollars , and second around 45,000..

That is kind of why I was asking the questions. Notice some room owners streaming rather own events.

Are you in management ?Ever heard of curiosity ? The more things change ,the more they stay the same. Wait till conflicting interests butt heads.

It does seem like a win win , but most people have a phone , and if other players are savvy enough they can do the same.I see where some players are signing exclusivity contracts with different entities. I'm just saying that changes in the status quo could be ahead.

There are many implications , and the water is muddy . Multiple streaming crews when others want their matches streamed. Opponents refusing to play unless they are compensated.Players wanting streamers to compensate them for appearing on the stream.

Wondering about how he is filming his matches with private commentary when someone is paid to stream the event.Is he paying the streamer for the video?The facility owner? What if other players want this setup?Looks like a can of worms. Can't blame the player for trying to profit from their image.

Well when I first got there I ended up playing some 10ball and straight pool with another guy there (free) and had a good time but it wasnt really the practice I wanted on the tougher equipment I wanted to play on. You were playing for free ?

They played each other in the finals or semi final match at a Hard Times Bell Flower event couple of years ago , think it was 10 ball. Believe PovPool streamed it , might have been an Asian guy , name escapes me . Mika wouldn't shake Dennis' hand when it was over .

The associations and the prize pool would have to be financially attractive enough to hold members. Anybody can start a pool tournament and if the money is attractive enough it would siphon off players. You would have to have promoters and players sign legal binding exclusivity agreements to the...
