    NEW TOOL B.A.T. Shaper/Bridge

Put it on your break cue then you won't leave it, or if you use a cue holder lean the bridge there with your other cues :) I put my car key in the pocket of my case that I keep everything in so then when I leave the bar it helps me remember to put everything back in my case before I get my key...

    Tip Tools

I have a lot of ideas for new tools. I will try to drill some holes in a tool to see if it prevents clogging or maybe some slots... I usually use a wire brush to remove the leather build up but I know nobody wants to carry a wire brush in their bag. You should not have to shape your tip too...

    Tip Tools

When it comes to tip tools there seems to be a 50/50 split on this forum between sandpaper and permanent grit. Sandpaper shapes better and clogs less (IMHO) that is why every cue maker and repair guy uses sandpaper to shape tips on a lathe.... but you do have to replace it from time to time...

    I'll never understand cue makers...

There must be something magical about that joint. I do most of the cue repair for the 3 cushion players in my area and they all love Schuler cues. I have never seen one fail. He also used a unique weight system that had washers and rubber "O" rings that as you tighten the screw holding...

    FS: Milk Duds tip

The first time I ever heard of these tips was from John Robinson over 20 years ago...I dont know who gets credit for "inventing" them but I'm glad they did! I play with a Robinson cue and when I first got it it played great...then the tip wore out...I tried every tip I had in the shop and...

    FS: Milk Duds tip

Milk Duds I have been pressing Elkmasters for years and they are the only tip I use...however the reports of inconsistencies are due to the poor quality of most Elkmaster tips right out of the box. The last box I got only had 8 good tips out of 50! The spongy "marshmellow" tips that come apart...

    Cuetec Bowtie Tip Shaper Tool

The hard parts about developing a 5 in 1 tool that you describe is #1 keeping the cost down and #2 it is hard to make a trimmer that the average do-it-yourselfer can use without causing damage to their ferrule. Once the tip is trimmed with a blade you still will need to sand it with several...
