I personally reported this post to you over and over and over, 8 times? Are you out of your mind? Are you saying that I personally sent you a pm about this thread 8 damn times? I don't even know how to report a post, let alone 8 times. Enlighten me Dave, tell me what I did, what I said, and who I sent it to. When you do that, show everyone in the forum what I said about this thread 8 times, then I'll be back to do some painting.Mr. Wilson said:

I don't think this would be the most benefitial idea simply because of the fact that it encourages flame wars, instead of preventing the problem it simply deflects it somewhere else. Also, it would be inevitable that what was said in an alternative forum for arguments would eventually spill over to the rest of the AZ forums, which would just put us back at square one.

PoolSharkAllen - Are you serious? I though Watchez's comments were pretty funny. You have never been in the service, have you Allen, or you would know what REAL insults were. In general, He called you a blockhead, hardly justification for whining.
And get this straight, no matter what the law says, gambling is a main and driving force in Pool, always has been and ALWAYS WILL BE. Money and sex turn the world, and in Pool, it's money. Got that?

I was top Payroll person (Supervisor) over a major company and subsidiary with many divisions, about 7,000 employees, for 5 years, I KNOW the meaning of a thankless job, and its pitfalls. You have my deepest sympathy about your Dad, I was greatly affected when I lost my Dad, and 18 years later, I still miss and think of him everyday.
I, for one, think you are doing fine. People don't realize that the board goes through phases where turmoil comes and goes like waves. Sometimes it sneaks up on a moderator, other times, it can happen in 1 day. Dave just asks for people to be civil (think of the board as to how you would conduct yourself in a public restaurant or other public area).
Dave ... I like the 3 strike rule, after all it's American, with strikes getting wiped off after certain length of time. I think bans of 2,4, & 6 months give enough for people to think about their actions, and in the most severe cases, a 1 year ban. Lifetime bans seem too severe, to me, but
anyone banned for 1 year, and comes back causing trouble would be banned 1 year again, then 3 strikes on 1 year bans, then a lifetime ban.
(that's kind of based on the 3 time offender law rule) After all, we are all here to PROMOTE POOL and draw people to it, not to try to take them away from it.

Take a break (I had to months ago), and come back to us.
And Timberly, the clubhouse example was not good because the smokers outnumbered the nonsmokers and could beat him up if they had to ...lol

Smorg - Everyone makes mistakes, but yours was a whopper, realizing it and be apolygetic about it helps a lot, and I miss Tom (OHB) quite a bit on here, think of him often.
Sniper's right on the 'other' forum. People get a jabbing antagonistic name calling mood, and it would overflow into the 'nice' forums.
