I'm pleased to announce that we are going to have another AZ Billiards IPT
Player Betting pool.In the first pool six different AZ ers selected the 25 players they thought would do best in the IPT money tourney and laid a small $20 bet.
The first one was really fun/successful with AZ ers showing there honesty in paying up.
Here's the rules for betting pool #2:
1.Every entrant commits $20 USA to enter.
2. Everyone intrested posts up a list of any 25 players they want to select, as per the Stan James betting odds list at this link:
http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=39898
3. Lists must be posted here before Sunday 10 am Pacific time which is before Sundays tourney starts.
4. Add up the total prize money won by your top 25 players and if your $$$ total is the highest, you are the winner.
5. Only one entry per person.
6. Winner takes all, however, in an event of a tie the prize money is split.
7. Losers pay by pay pal (preferred)or mail their cash(promptly) to the winner after the final scores are tabulated.
Please understand that this pool would be based on trust and to commit entirely at your own risk.If someone doesn't pay up(everyone was honest and committed to paying up the first time), tough s#$@
Because of that I would suggest that you would have to have been a reguliar here for at least 6 months, or 50 posts to be eligible to enter.
Additional comments:
Picking at least 25 players makes this contest more skillful. Everyone will basically pick the SAME top 10 or 15 favourites(which takes no skill), however, it's your last 10 picks, including dark horses that will win or lose you this thing. It's basically just for fun and $20 isn't going to break anyone in the process. Try not to duplicate anyone elses list exactly, as to avoid a tie.Anyone who doesn't pay up promptly will of course be banned from further pools. Post up your list of ANY 25 players if intrested.
I will tally and keep the stats as the tourney progresses.
Good luck to all enteries.
RJ
