Actually I pity SVB. He finished last 32 last year and looks like this year it may be hard for him to do better than last 32 :)
Chang is a consistent player who usually goes into deep stages of major tourneys. Shane not only has to play his A+ game he has to play flawless cos Chang seldom fails to capitalize on errors
Even if he beat Chang, dang he has to play Dang Jun Hu or Karl Boyes. If he beats them he may have to play his nemesis Kazakis. Then if he beats them he gets into quarters and will have to either play beasts like Fu or Hsu or Wu or Lo or Chang or Cheng and anyone of them can chew him up
Good thing is they spread the 32 matches tomorrow over 4 sessions so only about 8 matches per session so we can savour and focus on couple of matches instead of having too many to choose from.
Other tantalising matches tomorrow (All races to 11) :
11 am local (4am EST)
Wang Can v Kiamco
Appleton v Daryl Peach
130pm local (630am EST)
Jason Shaw v Jeong Young Hwa
Jeffrey de Luna v Jason Klatt
Orcullo v Naoyuki
4pm local (9am EST)
Fu CHe Wei v Hsu Kai Lun
Wu v Lo Li Wen
Cheng Yu Hsuan v Chang Yu Lung
630pm local (1130am EST)
Ralf Souquet vs Gallego

yeah! now we got a REAL opponent for shane.
LOLOL. Honeymoon is over for Shane.
:DSo is Boyes going to request for the ball to be cleaned 20 to 25 times during his next matches? I stopped counting at 15 :boring2::boring2:
Don't see other players doing it so why is he doing it? a few times is fine but tens of times ? :D

Such a strong field!

The winner deserves more than what is at stake.

Perhaps the best of the cue artists are represented here.

If this was another sport the prize money would have been much bigger.

TWENTY SEVEN from Europe!!!! OMG!!

They were four or five USA players, down to one! unfortunately, of which triples the pressure on SVB to perform for USA; that does not help if he is on the down side, comeback will be hard. Go SVB

According to the draw most Filipinos are in the top half and only two are in the bottom. I guess no Filipino will be a champion this year. I think most likely from Euro again.
