Hi guys. I made an android app for the ghost drill (free, no ads). It's for playing the drill (10 racks for 9 ball). The rating system is derived from Dr. Dave's ranking. It's my first android app, but one of several that I want to make because I love pool! Please let me know any suggestions, bugs, etc. Thank you!

It would be awesome if you could write an app to automate scoring, rating, and record keeping for the BU Exams. We currently have a crude online spreadhsheet tool available, and I think Isaac is working on a browser tool (per his post in the TDF thread), but a Android app would also be nice.

Thank you for whatever you can do if you choose to work on a BU-related tool. You certainly have my permission to link to or embed anything you need or want from the BU website.

It would be nice if there were also a "Player Rating" feature that would use the most recent Exam I and Exam II scores (or allow the user to enter the scores on their own) and automatically list the corresponding BU Rating (and alternative designations) and Diploma level achieved, per the info here:

Do you use software to help write them, or is straight text coding?

I use framework called "AngularJS". In my opinion currently this is the best framework for developing "html5" apps. Another app I created using it about a year ago is "Bonus Ball Scoreboard"

Obviously this is not possible during the official recorded exam, but is OK while practicing. Also you'll be able to review exams later and see exactly which shot/position you struggle with and build you practice sessions accordingly.

Note that this feature is not available for the exams that were stored before I introduced it.

Feel free to post scores (and videos if available) now and as you improve. It is interesting to see how much a person can improve their scores over time with practice.

I won't issue the diploma until you tell me you are happy with your best scores up to that point.

Had to put pool low due health issues. Trying get my body function fully. Played still quite a lot but not practiced lately. I plan go take first official snooker tournament too so it probably will be couple months before I can try this.
