Yes, Mr. Berhman made his usual mess of things, on a few levels. Several levels. But Jay points out that many events pay the top finishers after the event.
IF (a rather large "if") the US Open players post dated checks clear on the dates that they are written for, this is no different.
Everyone should have been informed that this is what would happen beforehand, of course. PR is certainly not Mr. Berhmans strong suit.
Its a shame that this keeps happening. At least the event itself was a wonderful week of pool at the highest level, and for that Mr. Berhman needs to be thanked. This is the only remaining "big" pool event in the US, and it should be treasured.
