I suspect the balls aren't reacting exactly how he'd expect and he's now playing a bit timid because of it. That 7 ball shot in rack 11 was mind-bogglingly bad. He needs to snap out of it quick because time is running out.

I believe I heard one of the commentators say it rained a few hours the night before the SVB/Szewczyk match. I wondered why they didn't use the second ball break, since the head ball break wasn't working at all.
