I could just see myself (add sarcasm here) running around the firing line trying to hustle some 'ol redneck with a 6mmPPC to a shootin' contest for $20 per target, 5 shots per target. What I'm trying to say here is that just because someone is good at something doesn't mean money has to be made from it. People abstain from gambling for an assortment of reasons. Relegious beliefs, not wanting to lose what they worked so hard for, not wanting to take something from somebody that really can't afford to lose it, etc.

You wouldn't like me Mikey. I don't gamble at all. I've never even bought a lottery ticket. I shoot a lot of pool, all for fun. You would probably say that I suck. I don't. I'm a very likable guy that makes friends very easily and has lots of them. I have fun in life. Very much fun. And I do it without taking other peoples money or giving them any of mine.

If you ask me, I'd say that that the people in Iowa are very smart people. Nothing "sucks" about that!!!

I think there are some guys in Clinton named Chad, and DQ has Adam, and Ryan that would play you also, and maybe Whitey in Burlington, plus some added players in the QC area. Take a trip and see just how IA would kick your Azzz, or shut your pie hole and head back to NC.

Hmm that match happened already...we call him Air Jamie now...next.

Sidenote though he's a good guy and plays better than me. I cant beat him even, but when the game's right it's just right.

Thanks Craw...besides I only say the same thing all the people around here say anyways...how's that for irony. And I'm no champ but make the game right and you can get played, isn't that how we do it craw?

I think when he gives Iowa a better chance he will find there are plenty of games that can be found . Games from cheap to high dollar sets at Miller Time Billiards in Davenport I have seen everything from $2 a game to $50 a game . Wednesday is a great day/night to show up at Miller Time they have an all day special that is only $5 to play all day and all night ! Lots of people show up to get some practice in so there are a lot of opportunitys
to find a game .

Hey Mike, just got off not too long ago buddy. Post definitely sparked some goodness up. I'm not flaming or bashing either cuz then I would have named names and called people out but I didn't.

I'm not questioning you, but are you sure you are going to the right place at the right time? Because at first when I started here in KC, I thought there were no girls around either, until I started switching up my time, I start seeing some pretty hot girls in different spots. Try league night. Good luck man. Just find the fun in the game and don't let others ruin it for you man.

OK hopefully I replied to most of you guys, I sure tried and lost an hour of my life doing so. I wouldn't like to clarify my statements either. Anyway point is the folks I do like know I did nothing but say the same ish ppl here say, even the townies. Pool doesn't pay 6 figures but my job does so I'll stay and get paid and move on. The post was more about missing the old crew. Can't compare the two areas cuz there is no comparison. I do know some NC boys who will ship it if the games right, I'm no world beater and I haven't played worse in my life than I am playing now. I am going to waterloo on Saturday so we'll see what happens there. Actually nothing will I'm sure of that. Sure there will be some betting but it's a once a year thing. Where I was, there was literally always some action going. It makes the game more fun. My window is closed now and will be. Only opening it to back some of the old crew when they visit.

Believe it or not I like Des Moines. Anyone else who wants to know anything that doesn't want it on blast send a PM and I'll hit you back. Oh and all PMs have been answered now as well.
