He IS a great guy, and I'm not just saying that cuz he snores next to me at night. I won the lottery with him.

He got 3rd in 2008 and 2nd in 1999 behind TJ Davis, both in the Master's Division. :)
 
Jay, you're right THIS GUY CAN PLAY!!! he's beem torturing me and everyone else around here for years:D And you will NOT find a nicer guy winning OR losing!

We have a pretty good list of items already, so the Silent Auction and Raffle will have some REALLY nice stuff. Thanks again Jay for your contribution! You're book will be a welcomed addition(pun intended :D)I know Tony and Ann will truely appreciate it.

Hey Tony,
you may or maynot remember me, but I know you remember my brother Country Calvin.

Back in the very late 90's you use to come to Texarkana,Ark/Texas and play in our big tournaments and to just match up with me or Calvin, we've both played you many times at my brothers club/poolroom "The Country Connection"

I'm sorry to here about the cancer, but you can beat it!

My close friend was diagnos with colon cancer two yrs. ago, he had just one polyp that was canerous, the doctors removed 4 inches of his colon....

6 months later they found a golf ball sized tumor on one of his kidneys, it was cancer, doctors then operated and removed one of the kidneys......

this was two yrs. ago and as of now he is cancer free, he was 47 yrs. then.


You are most definitely a "great pool player and a good guy!"

I'm pullin for ya bud!, to beat this.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!:)

If I recall correctly, the little bar next to Country Connection was "Mothers", am I right?

I've heard from a lot of pool players I haven't heard from or even thought of in years and it's good to be in touch with them all.

Thank you, and everyone else, for your support at this rough time in my life, it helps alot knowing I have good friends and aquaintences.

I hope ya'll are doing well.

Wow Tony, you do remember me, and my Real nickname too! "Catman".....that's way cool!..hehe

Yep that bar was called Mothers, it's under new management now and called something else. Calvin sold The Country Connection about 6 yrs. ago, it's still there but under a different name.

Calvin still plays some, but he's 60yrs. now and don't hitt-um like he use too, but has a flash back now and then!..hehe

I moved to Arkadelphia,Ark. about 5 yrs. ago, hell there's not a pool room 40 miles of here.........lol

I have to travel just to play.

I hope nothing but the best for ya ! ...hang in there!

I have just set up Tony's email account and began the PayPal set up. It will take just a bit for the PayPal to be verified. I've had my own set up for years, so I don't remember how quick they are to verify it. I'm thinking a day or so.

Nope sweetie, I'm not gonna be able to make the tournament. That's why I asked for the paypal account.

Speaking of which, a friend wants to send Tony a check (he doesn't have paypal). Can you email me your mailing address if you feel comfortable with that?

BTW, Cristina De La Garza donated a Lucasi Hybrid jump cue for the raffle. We gave it to Orietta at the Austin OB Cues stop.
